To save rhythm game fans the headache of figuring out which instruments work with the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series', the Guitar Hero World Tour community management team has launched an official compatibility chart. The two images outline each major release for both series and their respective instruments along with which systems and competing games they work with. Not content with merely representing Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers, the charts even include instrument listings for the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions of each game. It's a shame that we need such an in-depth chart to explain which instruments will work with which games, but until Activision and MTV Games decide to officially establish a moratorium on non-compatibility, this chart is essential reading for prospective rhythm gamers.
